A native of Leawood, Kansas, Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in Plant Sciences from the University of Missouri, where he played collegiate golf from 2002-2006. After graduating, he moved to Scottsdale, Arizona to play professional golf. He returned to Kansas City in 2010 to start his career as a PGA Professional. He spent eight years as the Assistant Golf Professional at Lake Quivira Country Club. Chris has an accomplished competitive golf background, including being a 5-time Midwest Section PGA Assistant Player of the Year, the 2017 Omega Midwest PGA Section Champion, and the winner of over 20 Midwest Section PGA Tournaments. Chris’ wife, Sara, is a University of Kansas Alum; they have two boys, PJ and Tommy. Chris has been at LCC since April, 2018.
Steve is a graduate of the Golf Academy of America, where he earned his degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management with an emphasis in Golf Professional coursework. Steve brings to Lawrence Country Club a background of private club experience, stemming from LeTriomphe Golf and Country Club in Broussard, Louisiana and Hawk Point Golf Club in Washington, New Jersey, where he had roles as both the First Assistant Professional and Tournament Operator. Steve is a native of Langorne, Pennsylvania, and has been at LCC since January, 2018.
