Rheanne earned her Bachelor’s degree in English and Communications from the University of Iowa. Shortly after graduating, she joined Troon Golf, which is the largest manager of Golf and Golf Club operations in the world. After beginning her Troon career as Managing Accountant at Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club in St George, Utah, she also served as the Director of Group Sales and Marketing , and was then promoted to Resort Manager. Rheanne was accepted into, and graduated from the exclusive Troon Golf Leader Program and was then assigned to The Resort at Tapatio Springs in Boerne, Texas. While at Tapatio Springs, she served as Membership Director, Resort Manager and Assistant Club Manager. Prior to LCC, Rheanne was the Director of Catering at Arrowwood Conference Center and Resort in Okoboji, Iowa. Rheanne has been at LCC since February, 2014.
A native of Leawood, Kansas, Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in Plant Sciences from the University of Missouri, where he played collegiate golf from 2002-2006. After graduating, he moved to Scottsdale, Arizona to play professional golf. He returned to Kansas City in 2010 to start his career as a PGA Professional. He spent eight years as the Assistant Golf Professional at Lake Quivira Country Club. Chris has an accomplished competitive golf background, including being a 5-time Midwest Section PGA Assistant Player of the Year, the 2017 Omega Midwest PGA Section Champion, and the winner of over 20 Midwest Section PGA Tournaments. Chris’ wife, Sara, is a University of Kansas Alum; they have two boys, PJ and Tommy. Chris has been at LCC since March, 2018.
Adam graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Environmental Horticulture from Colorado State University. While attending CSU, Adam worked for Harmony Golf Club, a high end private course that is home to the CSU men’s and women’s golf teams. After graduating, he took a position just outside of Seattle at Chambers Bay in preparation for the U.S. Open. From Chambers he was promoted to Assistant Golf Course Superintendent for Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club in St. George, Utah. He and his wife Jennifer have a son named Wyatt. Adam has been at LCC since March, 2016.
Jason earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas. Prior to KU, Jason was the Golf Services Manager at Hallbrook Country Club in Leawood, Kansas. While attending KU, Jason joined the team at Shadow Glen the Golf Club in Olathe, Kansas. Shortly before graduating, Jason was promoted to Director of Food and Beverage. In 2004, Jason moved to Las Vegas to grow his career as Restaurant General Manager at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino. In continuing his career, Jason became a Multi-Unit General Manager at the Silverton Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. After 10 years in Las Vegas, Jason moved to Houston, Texas as the Regional Director of Operations for Bradley Ogden Hospitatlity. Jason is a Kansas native and once again resides in the place he has always called home.
Todd was born and raised in Iowa. After high school he joined the US Army for a four year tour. He then moved to Florida after military duty and started cooking in hotels and country clubs, eventually becoming the Executive Sous Chef at a restaurant on the gulf coast specializing in seafood and steaks. After ten years in the Sarasota, FL area, Todd moved to Atlanta, GA to further his culinary career and work in some of the finest restaurants in the area specifically the Abby which was a Michelin star restaurant. He decided to take his culinary knowledge back to Iowa and open a restaurant called PHAT DADDYS in his home town which got a lot of exposure of being a large city type of restaurant in a town of two thousand. After serveral years in Iowa, he decided to go back south to Sarasota to work and found that he really enjoyed the country clubs’ culinary challenges and pleasures. Todd moved to Lawrence four years ago and has worked at the top hotels. Creating a relationship with some of the local farmers in the area really inspired him to continue his culinary career in Lawrence, thus going back to what he loves the most – country clubs. Todd joined the LCC team in October of 2014.
Steve Goracy, Assistant Golf Professional
Steve is a graduate of the Golf Academy of America, where he earned his degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management with an emphasis in Golf Professional coursework. Steve brings to Lawrence Country Club a background of private club experience, stemming from LeTriomphe Golf and Country Club in Broussard, Louisiana and Hawk Point Golf Club in Washington, New Jersey, where he had roles as both the First Assistant Professional and Tournament Operator. Steve is a native of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, and has been at LCC since January, 2018.
Justin graduated with a Commercial Turf and Grounds Management degree from Linn State Technical College. While attending LSTC, Justin completed an internship at Bellerive Country Club, which was host of the 2013 Senior PGA Championship. After graduating, he accepted an Assistant in Training position at Iron Horse Golf Club. From there he was promoted to Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Falcon Ridge Golf Course. Justin has been at LCC since April, 2016.
Megan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. After College, she moved to Texas where she developed her management career for over 10 years. She resides in Lawrence with her husband, Kenny and four children, Bronxton, Christopher, McKayla, and Khyree. Megan has been with LCC since April of 2016.
Prior to joining the Lawrence Country Club team, Jared performed various roles throughout the hospitality industry in Kansas and Arizona with the last five years devoted to fine dining and event coordination. His greatest work memories are heartwarming weddings, joyous Christmas parties, and fun-filled family gatherings. As a native Topekan, Jared is happy to be back in northeast Kansas near all of his family and life-long friends. Jared has been with LCC since May, 2018.
